Video Editing With Windows Media Movie Maker
I am working on editing for a project for the school's Film Club, and I am using Microsoft's Movie Maker (go ahead...laugh). Anyways, this is the first time I have used WMM for anything significant, and the program is great...especially for rough edits like the one that I am doing.
A Pentium 4 2400 with 512 MB RAM had quite a time with reading arbitrary sections from multi-gigabyte video files on the fly! (obviously...the disk was probably the limiting factor there) After stopping every service and application that is not vital to the operation of the Windows operating system, it worked a little better...
The video is a half-hour parody to the "Real World" TV show, made by the SAHS Film Club. It is absolutely hilarious, and even after watching it about 10 times, it is still funny. When the thing is completely edited it will be burned to a DVD and sometime next week the student body will watch it. So, if you go to Selinsgrove High School and happen to be reading my web log...be in for a treat next week!
As for the CBLL.net site update, all is good...Just waiting for BoastMachine 3.1. I logged onto boastology.com earlier and a page came up from cPanel saying that no web site was configured at that address...strange.
